Carbon Cleaning

As part of the multitude of complex engine management faults we solve at Euro Performance, one of the most common offenders is DPF problems – in particular, blocked inlet tracts. In the past, depending on the type of carbon mass build-up and level of blockage, the only solution was component removal for cleaning or replacement which involved an intrusive partial engine strip to rectify and remove the carbon build-up.

Modern engine design, together with a drive to reduce harmful emissions, has contributed to an increase in these contamination related issues such as:

• Blocked DPFs
• MOT emission failures
• Fouled Fuel Injectors

The Tec4 Carbon Cleaning Machine – available now at Euro Performance allows you to get these issues fixed quickly and efficiently. We are confident we can solve 90% of DPF blockage, inlet tract narrowing and poor compression running issues without DPF replacement, and with minimal levels of strip down and intrusion.

If you clean the carbon from your car’s engine at the recommended intervals, you will benefit from improved fuel economy, increased performance and the reduced likelihood of a breakdown. Regular carbon cleaning will also benefit the environment due to the reduction in emissions. Vehicles that have covered more than 10,000 miles, or are used regularly for ’round town’ driving, will benefit from having a “Carbon Clean” – particularly Diesel vehicles fitted with DPF’s.
